porstmouth

yesterday we went to the porstmouth historic dockyard where there were a famous ship and a VERY famous ship. the famouse ship was called the HMS warrior which fought in the battle of trafalgar. we went on a tour around the harbour and saw loads of new and old destroyes and one aircraft carrier. after the tour we went to the new spinker tower which has the largest glass floor in europe. when we came down we went to possibly the most famous ships in the world (this is my favorite part) we went on the HMS VICTORY the flag ship during the trafalgar war with amrial lord Nelson in charge of the fleet the won. if you don't know the story lord nelson was pacing up the deck with the captain when he was shot be a french musketier and mortaly wounded having a bullet in his shoulder one piercing his lung and the last gamming into his spine. but the victory still sunk the french ship from point blank range.

chatham

yesterday we went to the Chatham historic docks. they had 2 ships in the dry docks and 1 submarine also in a dry dock. the oldest ship there was called HMS Gannet it was built in 1878 and was one of the first steam and sailing ships. the HMS Cavalier is a destroyer there it was one of 96 built in the second world war. it is the last operational destroyer used in the second world war 142 royal navy destroyers sunk in the second world war including the HMS Maori and the HMS Zulu. the submarine we went on was called the HM submarine Ocelot was the last warship to be built for the royal navy at Chatham. this design was most successful for patrol submarines. and therefore 13 more were built. the last place we went to at Chatham was a historic ropery which was and still is making rope since 1618. the tour guide presented it perfectly making most of the humor on the spot he showed us a small cannon ball and how heavy it was and then he asked us who wanted to lift up a big cannon ball since nobody else would i tried and it ended up being hollow and make of plastic. then we went upstairs and we made some rope out of cannabis, i did the most work so i got the longest bit, at the end of the tour he showed a quarter of a mile long hall which they use to make six quarter of a mile long pieces of rope. when we got home i tied a knot in the end of my rope and started whipping my cousin.

Air show

Today we went to the international Farmbourgh air show which was really good I saw tonnes of planes including a Hercules, spitfire, the red arrows, the blades, a typhoon and a one of the new airbuses which can hold up to 35,000,000 ping pong balls. the red arrows were really good doing a series of tricks. the trphoon is the newest plane to the RAF but sadly all its deails are clasiffied. all the new planes are part bombers aswell. the blades are four previous red arrows. if you see the landed plane it is a black red arrow and the plane in the distance is the typhoon.

Friends

I was at my best friends house from wensday to saturday and we went to thrope park. The first ride we went kn was called the colloulsil and it's the worlds first 10 spiral rollercoaster also it has more G-force then a F1 car. During some of the spirals it felt like you were floating.

london

A few days ago we went to London and it was totally amazing I took over 180 photos (which I still can't put up) my favorite part was the London eye. When you are at the very top you get an awesome view of the whole of London and the people look so tiny when you look down. My dad and I also went on a cruise of the Thames and I found out that big Ben isn't called big Ben, it's actually called the clock tower and that the bell inside it is actually called big Ben. The guide also showed us where the ministry of defence is and that it has nuclear proof bunkers under Neath (my dads been in meetings in there with a general to do with his old job) and we were shown where the MI6 HQ is. After the tour we went to the science museum Then we walked through a famous park called Hyde park. Then we caught a painfully slow and hot train home.

P.S
comment when you've read the posts and tell me who is the new head boy.

Spain

We went to Spain last week to see me cousins and it was really fun. But it was very humid and hot, sometimes it would get up to 35d at night! Before we left I bourght FIFA 07 for 98p, my cousin has a ps2 over there so we played on that for a lot of the time (which really anoyed my dad). While we were there we went to a place called Aqua land and that was really fun. They had those massive balls you get in then you roll around in the water.
